]RAD SEO are often asked to get involved in a number of projects from a wide range of industries. Recently Managing Director Zak Jacobs was asked to meet and discuss SEO strategies with the 7 finalists for Unilever’s Sustainable Living Young Entrepreneur Awards.
The awards are delivered in partnership with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and this part of the process was held at Moller Centre in Cambridge. Zak was delighted to get involved and provided guidance and information for website optimisation strategies.
The awards themselves recognise young people aged 30 and under who have come up with practical, scalable initiatives designed to tackle the challenge of sustainable living.
From empowering micro-entrepreneurs to sell solar lights to India’s urban poor to providing agronomic advice to smallholder farmers in Ghana, these finalists demonstrate the potential for young people to use business to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges.
All of the initiatives were fantastic and deserve their recognition. The eventual winner was Daniel Yu, 21, founder of Reliefwatch – a simple software helping medical clinics in the developing world to digitise and manage inventory records for better patient outcomes.
